Preparing for Market Release – A New Title

Never a dull moment!

In preparing for the market release of this new novel in February-March of 2012, I’ve received a great deal of solid advice from my Agent and Publisher regarding how best to position this book for the largest market possible. When you step back and assess this story, one realizes that it is NOT just about abortion, NOT just about human trafficking, and NOT just about the black market for human organs. It is about a risk-tolerant entrepreneur, now venture capitalist, who makes a desperate but calculated decision to invest in a controversial new company in attempt to get a quick return so that he could raise yet another venture fund. Instead of being in a controlling position to pull all the strings to grow value in the business, he becomes but a pawn in a much larger undertaking that is driven by evil men who would stop at nothing to monopolize an enormous global market. His experience and business acumen does not prepare him for the dark world he’s pulled into… one that includes abortion, rape, human trafficking, and murder.

EQUITY has two interesting meanings: one representing fairness or impartiality, the other relating to ownership. (I’ll let the reader decide which one was intended here.) After assessing several potential new titles for this novel, we have decided on “EQUITY of EVIL”. I sincerely hope this better represents the storyline and avoids any confusion or misconception that “Harvest of the Unborn” may have caused – although I still very much like that title! ðŸ™‚  Now check out the new Synopsis….!
